Trust & safety
You are letting someone into your home, or walking into someone else's. Here is exactly what we do — and don't do — to keep that safe.
Who cleaners are
Every published cleaner storefront belongs to a real account that has been through our listing review. Cleaners can submit evidence — insurance, ID, DBS — which our team reviews document by document; documents are malware-scanned and stored privately, never shown publicly. Verified badges appear only for evidence we have actually reviewed. We show a storefront’s reviews exactly as customers wrote them, tied to real completed bookings — a review can only be posted by the customer of a completed booking, once.
Your address is not public
While cleaners quote, they see your area and distance — never your address. Your full address and access notes are shared with exactly one cleaner: the one whose quote you accept. For cleaners doing short-let turnovers, access details (key safe, alarm) are revealed at acceptance and hidden again 24 hours after the clean finishes.
Money
We never hold, process or take a cut of job money. You agree the price with your cleaner and pay them directly. Nobody from Easy Cleaners will ever ask you to pay us for a cleaning job — if anyone does, it is a scam; report it to support@easycleaners.co.uk.
If something goes wrong
Report and block from Account → Safety in the app; a human reviews every report and admin actions are audit-logged. We can unpublish a storefront, suspend an account, and preserve records where needed. For anything involving a crime in progress, call 999 first.
What we are not
Easy Cleaners is an introduction and admin service. Cleaners are independent businesses — we are not their employer, we do not supervise work, and the cleaning contract is between you and them. That independence is the deal: it is why cleaners keep 100% of what they earn.
